It's crazy to think that the first semester of senior year is almost coming to an end. I remember when I was an underclassmen and upperclassmen SWORE that high school flies by in the blink of an eye and they truly weren't wrong at all. Now that I'm a senior myself I can't help but to tear up every time I think about the fact that I have already lived through my last football and pep rally season ever. Aside from all the super fun events like graduation pictures and the senior walk, schoolwork is still crucial, especially right now with everyone stressing over improving their GPA's. These are all bittersweet moments that I'll forever cherish for the rest of my life but one thing in particular: college applications, UGH! The time has come when we have to transition from being in high school to starting to plan out what exactly we're going to do for the rest of our lives. It's a scary thought to dwell about when you think about it. Senioritis is kicking in at an all time high since everyone just wants to get senior year over with, get accepted into their dream universities, and put on their cap and gowns on graduation day. In less than a month or so everyone will be enjoying their last winter break and the spring semester will arrive and prom and grad party season will be approaching! I always tell seniors to keep one thing in mind in the midst of all the chaos of senior year: "These are the greatest moments we'll never be able to live again so enjoy them to the fullest and make endless memories."
