From a Senior's Point of View
When they say that high school will pass in a blink of an eye- the don't kid. It feels like just yesterday I was entering the doors of C.C Winn high school for the very first time, and I can still remember the feeling of anxiousness and adrenaline rapidly flowing through every one of my veins. Sigh, I wish I had done more, but at the same time, I feel like I've done sufficiently to be able to tell a story out of my high school career after I graduate. For this year, I will tell you about the struggles and the experiences I have as a senior, and what I learned from it. |
College Application Deadlines.
Nothing is more dreadful than trying to finish all your essays in time to apply to the college you've been wanting to go since you were 11 (or watever age you realized "WOW THIS SCHOOL IS PRETTY GREAT,") I have been working on my college essays for the past month and the continuous thoughts of "This is not good enough." keeps popping into my head every time I feel I got everything figured out. Things would have much more simpler if I people hadn't drop out some much and I'd still be a part of the 25% of my class. So far I think I'm 26%, which makes me irksome because that makes me the second quartile of my class, which colleges require a certain SAT or ACT scores in order to qualify for automatic admission. Sigh, I'm not a tremendous test taker so it is making me overwhelmingly anxious. I'll keep you guys updated once I get things in order. Wish ya'll, my seniors, the best of luck on your applications. I just hope UTSA and/or Texas State accepts me.
